This is one of my favorite local restaurants to eat at. I clean this carpet about every 3-4 months. I have a really good relationship with the owner of this restaurant and he lets up experiment with the latest chemicals and equipment on his carpet. This day I attempted to clean this greasy carpet with a ne wlow moisture machine that I am testing out to see how it compares to hot water/steam extracting it with my ROTOVAC 360.
This machine did a great job of removing the stains from the carpet. The lines that you see are how the machine grooms the carpet and from the back and forth motion that we used when we did it. Overall, the very low moisture process worked like a charm and myself and the restauranteur were pleased with the result. It has been a few weeks since these shots were taken and the carpet still looks great. The dry time on this job was about 3 hours from the time we left which is a huge difference from the normal 12-16 hours it took with hot water/steam extraction with 4 air movers in the room.
